Hey all, so I'm super excited to be on this page! Dream come true right there! McFly are literally the reason I learnt and studied music and am about to start my masters in Songwriting and Production because of Mcfly! So my question is this, what is your favourite McFly song and what does it mean to you? I love the meaning behind Mcfly's lyrics, they really do take me on a journey. My favourite is the Heart Never Lies because I can really feel the emotions and lyrics. I also love Love on the Radio because the song always plays in the background unexpectedly in shops and all when I'm with my partner, who does things for radio!

I totally get you because this is literally what happened to me. I started listening to McFLY and after that began learning the piano. Then guitar. Then came the bass. Then the drums. Aaaaand finally I bought THE pink ukulele! 😹

This is how I feel about McFLY. They're the reason why I chose music. The flaring passion and the unique combination of chords are a reason, but it's more than that. These lyrics mean the world to me because I can see through them and some words either fill me with an inexplicable joy or they make me tear up and cry and I really can't stop. But those tears are what create the music, the bond. They create my relationship between the songs, the instruments, the band, and myself.

If I had to choose I would say The Heart Never Lies would be my favourite, I love the emotion behind it, it's super powerful and the music is astounding. It sounds so much better live as well and always makes me incredibly emotional.

No Worries is also an important one for me as that is mine and my partner's 'song.' :)

I totally agree Louise! The Heart Never Lies is such a good heartfelt song :) I remember my sister getting me the lyrics to the song framed for my 18th birthday; and just reading them made me emotional :) Truth be told I've never seen McFly live before; not be choice, I just couldn't financially do it or I wasn't old enough to travel on my own. Next May will be the very first time I get to see the four of them live properly! I'm so excited!

I didn't become a musician because of McFly, but just the opposite. I love McFly, because I'm musician. The music is so rich, composed and arranged perfectly. Love many songs, but at the moment I'm on 6/8 measure mood, so I will go for "Too close for comfort"
